Flaccid tongue:  when the tongue is so flabby and weak that it could hardly extend or contract at will.  This is mainly due to extreme deficiency in both Qi and blood, and insufficient Yin fluid to nourish the tendons and meridians.  This is shown where the Yin is extremely deficient, with heat scorching fluid and both Qi and blood are deficient.
